Angels are looking over me!

I couldn't be Happier , at this moment I feel as though all angels are looking over me! I recieved an email Today....with an acceptance letter for one of my LO's to be published in the For Keeps Magazine...In the past 3 months I have acceded my goals..I joined an awsome forum, was asked to join their team as a DT Member, had a few LO's accepted into the major Paper Companies Galleries, won a few comps...and now for the best news of all..a LO of mine will be published!!! Wowzers! I am feeling sooooo happy within my own personal ability to achieve in a passion I love , I've just gone out there and went for it..and to my surprise have been accepted into the world of internet scrapbooking with arms wide open.

So I want to take this opportunity to thank my friends who have helped me get to where I'm at today...firstly Kjirsten who has given me endless encouragement!! and all the love a friend could give, Secondly Diane Scrapbook savvy Lady Boss! who gave me the greatest opportunity to part of a great design team... and Julie who without her few tips and words of wisdom gave me the idea to submit all of what I had to offer to the magazines...

The LO that is getting published, was possibly one I never thought would, it's gone into the theme for heart felt journalling and it's how I feel about my Hubby DH, I showed this LO to me Mother in law only a few days ago and I said this is what I wanted to say at my wedding, but me being to shy..didn't and now it's being printed the whole world can read about it.. I also rember when I had first completed it and gave it to Simon to read and his eyes swelled up and the hint of a tear rolled down his face, at that moment I knew, I myself would always hold this LO close to my heart!

So here it is...

Proud to be accepted by Cosmo Cricket...

I submitted my LO 'Naughty or Nice to Cosmo Cricket, a couple of weeks back when it was first completed, and to my surprise I recieved an e-mail yesterday to say it would be sent to Julie Comstock...who has decided to add it to there Gallery under the Be Good pp range!! Sometimes you just start projects and they seem to get pushed aside as you move on to new things well these two, firstly being a canvas that I started for the wall of my scrap room..I did this as these are the main principals to why I scrap and how I scrap...

I also have been working on a LO using the Fancypants Transparent Overlays , this is one of my favourite ones called 'whirl', they are so easy and really quite quick to put together a great LO...it just took me some time as I've been sidetracked with chriissy LO's , here it is..this is such a cute pic of Elly, I took this in her room when she was in one of her dress up costumes...I just luv it!

Aussie Scrap Jacked

I thought this would be the perfect LO for Aussie Scrap Jacked, this is of my Daughter Elly and myself sharing a special moment, while the boys went out!! I just love the BG Mellow range of pp!

Feeling Festive

I really am getting into these christmas LO's this year..I've just finished another this time, using the yummy pp from MME frost collection, I've also discovered sugar coating, which is great as you can cover all sorts of things, such as raw chipboard, ribbons, tips of flowers, buttons and it gives you a real added sparkle to your page which is great for christmas. In this LO I have Sugar Coated the large "B" letter in the LO , it was as simple as painting the chipboard, adding some glue and sprinkling the sugar coating on...

I just love that all my kids still believe in the magic of christmas, they believe in Santa and his workshop, they believe he lives at the North Pole with his elves and reindeers , they believe he visits all the good kids and leaves presents under our tree...it's so special and cute!

New Beach Pics and christmas is on it's way...

To think there is only 7 weeks to christmas can you believe it!!! Some of my chrissy shopping is done , but not nearly enough! However on the upside of that school Holidays is drawing closer which is great as there is so much less running around to do and more time to just chill out in the Summer time, which is my favourite time of year, We are real Beach goers in this house, we love boating and swimming and just generally all the fun water play ( even though itis becoming more and more restricted because of the drought).

This is a LO that I've just completed...
This is the first LO for the year, I've used PP from Cosmo Cricket the Be Good range available at Scrapbook Savvy...and I simply love them , the die cuts and journalling cards are also from the the same range!

7 Gypsies....

What an amazing workshop 7 Gypsies turned out to be we made some gourgous little books and a great address Book, but it was simply flat out all day, but overall we had a great time and I learnt a few new tequniques to take on board which is the main thing
